Lenore: Victoria, BC, Canada; I was inspired to start this blog by my sister Liz, who blogs about quilting, her lifelong passion. I've been doing this thing I love--painting--since high school, intermittently. Only now am I really working at understanding what I really want to paint. I also have a few too many degrees in art history, so I want to write about how such education informs or hinders my creativity. I'm also an editor; I'll post my website later. All these things are fundamental to who I am, adding up to a painterly life.
